The central principle of this policy is to ensure, as an organisation and as individuals, we consume less. Rockpools is committed to minimising the impact of our business on the environment and have built this into our operational processes. We aim to:
- deliver ‘paperless’ services; all of our processes and account management are e-enabled
- recycle as much of our waste as possible
- travel only when necessary through, for example, flexible/home working and use of technology such as video-conferencing
- encourage the use of public transport wherever possible
- educate our staff and raise awareness of the environmental impact of everything they do
Where it is not possible to consume less, it is our commitment to use alternative sustainable options or to either; recycle or reuse, buy ethically or compensate adequately.
