Eleanor Southwood

Eleanor joined Rockpools in November 2007 to work on senior local government appointments.

Previously, Eleanor has worked in a number of policy roles in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, she was a policy adviser for the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), covering local government, public procurement, EU procurement law and the Private Finance Initiative (PFI).

Immediately after graduating from Oxford University with a BA in Philosophy Politics and Economics in 2003, Eleanor joined the New Local Government Network where she edited a publication on effective partnerships in procurement.

Outside work, Eleanor enjoys reading, going to the theatre and socialising.
