Nancy Scott

Nancy started her career in the not-for-profit sector, where she gained experience in tackling social exclusion, with a particular focus on young people, minority ethnic communities, disability, offenders & ex-offenders and economic development. She also has experience in marketing, fundraising and event management.

Her career in recruitment started when she joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Since 2000, Nancy has been involved in high profile senior recruitment mainly in the public sector, but also working with those parts of the private sector, particularly large consultancies, seeking to do business with the public sector. She has worked with a diverse range of clients which include Defra, DfES, various NDPBs, a number of local authorities and companies such as Ernst & Young, Northgate Information Systems.

In 2005, Nancy was part of a team seconded by Rockpools to the Olympic Delivery Authority where, having joined the organisation at start-up, she recruited both interim and permanent staff within the procurement, security, health & safety, transport, design and planning functions.

She is now a member of Rockpools’ private sector team.

In 2001, Nancy was presented with an "individual award" from the European Federation of Black Women Business Owners for her work in promoting equalities and diversity in recruitment.
