Education

Successful, ambitious, diverse: that’s Rockpools’ Education team. How about you?

Rockpools’ Education team is made up of knowledgeable recruiters, experienced educators and highlyskilled researchers and administrators who work together to grow and support talent within the sector. Led by Partner, Baljit Dhadda, the team boasts substantial, wide-ranging experience in education, with consultants’ backgrounds ranging from headteacher, senior advisor, lecturer, teacher to recruitment strategy manager within a range of education bodies.

We have an excellent record of recruiting for a broad range of senior roles within the sector, including working with central and local government, Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs), further education and schools. This has been achieved through assignments such as: placing the Chief Executive and 12 board members of the newly-created Learning & Skills Improvement Service (LSIS); finding the Director of Children’s Services for Peterborough City Council; sourcing a range of leaders within the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), formerly the Department for Education and Skills (DFES); finding board members for Ofsted; a Head for Fortismere School; the Principal for Tower Hamlets College; and the Principal for Isle of Sheppey Academy.

We are increasingly the choice of clients who want a challenging, thorough approach to locating the best talent for their organisations. We’re not just headhunters: we bring our knowledge of the sector and its agenda to our clients, offering valuable consultancy as part of the recruitment process. We also offer a range of tailor-made services to meet your leadership needs, including talent solutions and leadership development.

As the UK’s education agenda emerges more coherently with other key aspects of social policy, our team works across the company with colleagues in the Regeneration, Private and the Third sectors on our education appointments. Through this, we can find the right talent with the sharpest strategic understanding.
