Interim management is a challenging and rewarding career, which will enable you to draw on your considerable experience to successfully deliver an organisation's goals through periods of change and transition.

Typically, our interim managers are board and senior management level executives who have left permanent employment to develop a portfolio career, working on a non-permanent basis for a variety of clients. We only work with individuals who are committed to a long-term career in interim management – our interim managers are not "between jobs": they are committed to the job in hand.

We handle a wide range of positions, working across local government, central government, not for profit, health, housing and the regeneration sectors. We also work with private sector clients, the public-private interface and, increasingly, in the international context of emerging and developing markets.

Rockpools takes great pride in its network of talented interim managers and we only accept the best to join us. We don’t just work from an impersonal database of thousands of candidates which many providers do: only the most capable and talented interim managers join our network, and are vetted through a rigorous . assessment and referencing process by our consultants.

Once a part of our network, we invest time with each interim manager to understand them and place them in the right assignments. We want to ensure our interim managers reach their career goals and therefore, we work collaboratively and in partnership with both our candidates and our clients to really listen and understand what each role requires and match this with the skills, interests and aspirations of our interims.

If you are a project or interim senior manager engaged in outsourcing we would like to hear from you. Your experience may well be in various aspects of outsourcing including call centres, business processing, finance and accounting, IT, HR, knowledge processing, and procurement. You may be skilled in operations, transitions management, solutioning, account management, consulting or business development.
